Estate and personal property sales are easier to promote when the sale bill is organized before the first public notice goes out. Use this checklist to prepare the information a buyer, auctioneer, or broker will request.

• Identify titled vehicles, trailers, equipment, firearms, real estate, and high-value antiques early.
• Group common items into buyer-friendly categories for the sale bill.
• Photograph representative items in clean light and save additional images for online galleries.
• Decide whether bidding will be live, online, or a hybrid format.
• Prepare directions, parking, inspection windows, lunch or weather notes, and payment terms.
• Confirm who can answer buyer questions before and on sale day.
